Newton Highlands is throwing a family Halloween party Saturday, Oct. 24, with live music, circus acts and an inflatable corn maze spread across Hyde Field and nearby spots in the village center.
The celebration runs 2 to 5:30 p.m., according to Patch. The Newton Highlands Neighborhood Area Council, a group of elected volunteers who represent the neighborhood to City Hall, is among the organizers.
The afternoon opens at Hyde Field with a live performance and dance party from Jammin' with You, a Greater Boston children's music group that has offered music education for families across the region for close to two decades. That set runs 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Kids can also try circus activities led by Circus Complex, a nonprofit circus arts studio based at 86 Los Angeles St. in Newton. An inflatable corn maze will be open throughout the afternoon. Games and candy round out the lineup.
The Patch listing describes the event as taking place at Hyde Field and at locations around Newton Highlands, though it does not specify which activities are at which sites.
Organizers have not posted a single admission price. The listing says to check individual activities for cost details.
