Jury convicts Newton man in JetBlue sexual contact case

A federal jury found Newton resident Jonathan Alan Lefman, 48, guilty of abusive sexual contact after he repeatedly touched a 17-year-old girl on a JetBlue flight from Puerto Rico to Boston in August 2024. Sentencing is set for Jan. 12, 2027.

Newton man stabbed in road rage incident on Drumlin Road

A 28-year-old Boston man pleaded not guilty to stabbing a 60-year-old Newton man in the abdomen after a road rage confrontation on Drumlin Road on Oct. 19. He was held on $5,000 cash bail and is due back in Newton District Court on Nov. 10.
